This is a visually interactive Chess game built using Python and Pygame. It supports piece movement, UI themes, drag-and-drop functionality, and more.

🛠 Installation
Requirements
- Python 3.6+
- Pygame
Install dependencies
pip install pygame
▶️ Run the Game
python main.py
Or use this (as shown in your terminal):
python -u "path/to/main.py"

- Drag and drop pieces with your mouse
- All standard chess rules enforced (movement, turns)

🔊 Sound Support
- Sound effects are enabled via
sound.py - Add custom sounds in the
assets/folder and reference them in the code

- Add AI opponent using Minimax or Stockfish
